Book Series Review: The Hush, Hush Saga by Becca Fitzpatrick

Hey friends:) I hope you all are well:)

I completely loved this series. Each book kept my interest and attention and I never felt like one was just a book written to fill in the gaps for the upcoming one. Each book in the Hush, Hush saga had explosive events happen in it and overall, the series holds a strong and intense love story though it is never too mushy gushy. This book may be compared to Twilight by some, but I personally believe that they have a completely different plotline and the Hush, Hush saga has a darker tone than the Twilight novels.

Nora, the narrator and main character, is an independent young woman which I really liked because I prefer not to read about the whole damsel in distress thing all the time, you know? She and Patch, who happens to be a fallen angel and is the character on the cover, have a very strong and special bond that I felt was really believable. They definitely have their troubles but throughout the whole saga I was caught up in their love story as they endured practically every test imaginable.  I recommend it for anyone, there’s nothing really inappropriate in any of the novels and I cannot wait for Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s next novel, Black Ice, which will hit the shelves on October 7, 2014.

There is also a Hush, Hush graphic novel by the author if you are interested in graphic novels!
