This book, I don’t think, should really be a young adult read. I mean, it could, because in the fashion of Ellen Hopkin’s CRANK series and other companion novels, it contains a good amount of intense adult situations and language.
I did enjoy the story as a whole though but it was just a little too heavy for me with the drug use. A majority of the characters are deeply troubled and some are caught up in relationships that they’re basically blood-bound by.
