Book Review: Jackie After Jack: Portrait of the Lady by: Christopher Andersen

This book did give quite a lot of information about the life and times of Jackie Kennedy, especially after her husband’s death. I enjoyed the majority of it though, I’m sure not all biographies are like this, it did include some details that nobody would ever want put in a book about them, celebrity or not. But, each biography about a famous person unfortunately comes with those details.

Personal things, that should be no one’s business but their own. Other than those couple of pages and spots, this book showed a very intimate portrait of the aftermath and affect of those terrible events that Jackie lived through but also how they shaped her character and her life afterwards.

Overall, an insightful and informative read for the Kennedy fan (or if you just happen to have some interest in them)!
