Starting off, I really didn’t feel all that connected to this book. Though the poetic writing style of this novel is really exceptional and beautiful all on its own, I started to feel closer to the characters towards the middle to the end of the story.
It is not necessarily a dark book, though it does deal with the aftermath of a loved one’s death and the haunting and rollercoaster emotions that come with it. I’m really glad I hung in there and finished it. I love the concept of the story being told through letter writing to celebrities that are no longer with us.
I recommend it to anyone 15 and up just due to language and some sexual situations.
This book really read like a story told through poetry, (which I believe made it such a lovely novel).
